Summer Camp 2026 - The Bone Wars

Our 4th Annual Summer Camp is roaring back with an exciting new theme focused on the legendary Bone Wars between O.C. Marsh & Edward Cope!! During this fun & educational two-hour camp, participants will dive into the fascinating history of early paleontology while learning about dinosaurs & fossil discoveries. Campers will enjoy engaging dinosaur presentations, hands-on games, & creative crafts that bring prehistoric science to life. It’s the perfect adventure for young dinosaur enthusiasts eager to explore the world of fossils & the rivalry that helped shape modern paleontology!!

Club Details:

When: Two Available Sessions

  • Wednesday, June 10th from 9 - 11am​​

    • 30 Spots Available

  • Wednesday, July 8th from 9 - 11am

    • 30 Spots Available

Where: Chalco Hills Park (Group Shelter)

Why: Because we LOVE dinosaurs!!

Who: Best for ages 5-11

Cost: $40 per camper (Includes Camp T-Shirt)

Additional Details:

  • The Chalco Hills group shelter is covered, but should we run into bad weather we have a rain day scheduled for both sessions the next day.

    • June rain day: Thursday, June 11th from 9 to 11am. 

    • July rain day: Thursday, July 9th from 9 to 11am.

  • Each camper will take home a junior paleontologist supply bag filled with prizes they'll receive during the event. 

  • Each event is limited to the first 30 campers. Please register by Thursday, April 30th, 2026. 

  • Parents are more then welcome to stay during the event, go for a walk around the lake, or simply return at 11am.

  • Children under 5 years old are welcome to join us, but we request a parent remain in the area. 

  • Additional information pertaining to the camp schedule & a map of the Chalco Hills will be sent closer to the event date. 

Terms:

  • Refunds up to 7 days before the event.

  • Please make sure you're available both June 10th & 11th should we need to use the rain day. 

  • Please make sure you're available both July 8th & 9th should we need to use the rain day.
